What is SEO?

SEO is an acronym for search engine optimization & technique of improving visibility & ranking of a website in a search engine result page, OR we can say the process of getting website on the top than other website in search engine (like Google, Yahoo, Bing) in response to a search query. SEO experts define this given below.


Types of SEO
1.  On- page optimization: This is the technique to optimize your own website by page coding or by you.

Factor 
a. Content optimization: What you visualize on a website that is content. It plays a big role to improve ranking of the site so it will be fresh, unique, & high quality. The search engine gives red flag if duplicate content used in site.

b.  Header tag: Important & targeted keyword in the page is encased in h1 tags because when search engine crawl a page, it knows what your page’s subject is.

c.  Page title optimization: Page title will be unique & highly relevant to the page it refers. Title tag should be 70character or less.

d.  Keyword optimization: Keywords are term which relates to our merchandise or service. These terms are searching by user in combination of 2-3 keyword or single. So we have to cover all related keyword for tags.

e.  Meta description: This appears in the search engine result page. So it should be well written & describe in max 160 characters.

f.  Image optimization: Search engines do not crawl images so Alt tag is used for describe an image through relevant keyword. After this optimization search engines crawls an images on a page.

 
2.  Off- page optimization:  This is the technique to optimize your own website by getting back-link from another site.
